Hanyang University aims to become one of the top 100 global universities beyond Korea's most prestigious universities. I was very proud of the achievement of being in the TOP 10 national university rankings for 7 consecutive years since 2015, not only Seoul Campus but also ERICA Campus. It is a great honor to be the chairman of the Foundation; being able to contribute to the development of Hanyang excites me.

The purpose of the Foundation is to support the growth of the University and to provide social service for the community, which I intend to do. We will also make efforts to promote exchanges between the university and alumni living abroad. I was very impressed by the "practice of love" our alumni have shown, and I still am.

We will carry out Hanyang's founding ideology, "Practice of Love," through the Hanyang University International Foundation.
